A memorial service to celebrate the life of Steven “Harry” Tuttle will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at McCausland United Methodist Church in McCausland, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCausland United Methodist Church.
Harry passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Great Bend, Kansas on February 27, 1947, the son of Louis and Lucy (Countryman) Tuttle Schneider. He was united in marriage to Corliss Anderson on April 11, 1970 in Jetmore, Kansas. Harry retired in 2010, after a 42 year career with Enron. He was a member of several clubs including Midwest Mopars of Minnesota, Chicagoland Mopars, Quad-City Mopars and the No Club Car Club. He enjoyed car shows and attending drag races. He was a proud member of the NRA and the Oak Hill Gun Club as well.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Corliss; his daughters Samantha (Cory) Bellucci of Belleville, Illinois and Benji (Rick) Rauenhorst of Brookings, South Dakota; his son, Aaron (Susan) Tuttle of McCausland; his grandchildren, Madison Rauenhorst, Taylor (Chris) Pursell and Lane Harrington; his great-grandchild, Jayden Pursell; his sister, Grace Schlegel of Ness City, Kansas; his brother, Doug (Gilah) Schneider of Arvada, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
