Susan Ewoldt

Susan Jean Ewoldt, 65, of Davenport, Iowa, died Monday, October 13, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Utica Ridge in Davenport after a brief illness.
She was born in Davenport on August 26, 1949, the daughter of Ronald & Helen (Linden) Watson. After graduating from Davenport West High School, she joined the United States Army, spending most of her active duty at St. McClellan in Alabama.
Returning home to raise her young son, she moved back in with her parents to help care for her ailing father.
Susan loved teddy bears and when not working with computers she enjoyed making custom designer bears for people.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Jon Mercier; her sisters, Jane Quigley and Kathe Watson-Arnould; and a brother, James Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Joan Jensen and Mary Kay Vazquez.
