Susan Gasper

Susan R. Gasper, 38, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at her residence.  A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Susan was born on November 28, 1983 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Tracey Denato.  She attended United Township High School and later began her career at Wendy’s where she worked for over 15 years.  Susan loved spending time with her children, Amayah and Quincy.  She also enjoyed coloring, reading, and was a self-proclaimed movie critic.

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Amayah and Quincy Gasper of Davenport; siblings, John (Tiffany) Denato of Moline, Nicole Gasper of Davenport, Kathlene Johnson of Mitchellville, Iowa; grandmother, Karen Canfield of Moline; aunts, Tami (Kirk) Minard of Dubuque, Iowa, Audie Canfield of Moline; uncle, Brian Canfield of Moline; cousins, Jae (Brittany) Eads of Galesburg, Illinois, Shanna (Harold) Hewitt of Davenport, Stephanie Sanchez and her children of Silvis, Illinois, Tasha Minard of Dubuque, and Jennifer (Donald) Hamm of Coal Valley, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tracey Denato.
