Tami R. Boley, 60, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport. In keeping with Tami’s generous and loving spirit, she gave the gift of life through organ donation so that others may live.
A celebration of Tami’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Saturday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Those attending are asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Nicole Smith.
Tami was born on December 18, 1960 in Davenport, the daughter of Donald and Eloise (McCollom) Boley. Following her high school graduation, she earned her Associates degree from AIC. Tami currently worked at Tuesday Morning, where she was the store manager for several years. She was hardworking, intelligent, and a devoted caregiver to her mother and brother. Tami was a friend to many, and always willing to go above and beyond. Most of all, she was a proud mother and Nana, and her grandchildren meant the world to her.
Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Nicole (Mario) Smith of Iowa City, Iowa; her mother, Eloise Boley of Davenport; brothers, Donald Boley Jr. of Davenport, Daniel “Joe” (Lynn) Boley of East Moline, Illinois, Jeff (Diane) Boley of Davenport; sister-in-law, Theresa Boley of Bettendorf; four grandchildren, Alishiana Weaver, Anyah Weaver, Amariana Smith, Aliyah Smith; a great-granddaughter, Kamila Brooks; her very special lifelong friend and her husband, Betsy & Gary Sheahan of Stockton, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Tinker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald; siblings, Debbie, Todd, and David; and nephew, Jared.
