Terese Lemons

Terese L. “Terry” Lemons of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away peacefully at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf after a brief illness.

Terry was born February 12, 1952 in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, the daughter of Betty J. and Donald E. Jones.  They preceded her in death.  She was united in marriage to William D. “Dave” Lemons on May 12, 1973 in Davenport, Iowa.

She retired from Deere & Company in 2012.  She had previously worked for ten years as a pharmacy technician.  Terry enjoyed camping with her husband, socializing with friends and neighbors, bingo, knitting, reading and especially taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; their three children, Todd Lemons, Amy (Robert) Wiley and Bradley (Rebecca) Lemons and two grandchildren, all of Bettendorf, Iowa.  She is also survived by three brothers, Donnie, Michael and Gregory Jones.

A private family service will be held.  There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
