Terry Correy

Memorial services for Terry Correy, 61, of Bettendorf will be 11:00 am Thursday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

Terry passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.

Terry Lynn Nevins was born on November 4, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Fran (Ward) Nevins. She married Tim Correy on December 31, 1983 in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Terry worked as a cafeteria supervisor for the public school system in Michigan. She also worked for the local HyVee Store on Devils Glen Rd and 53rd Street, Bettendorf. She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Tim, of Bettendorf, son; Nick Correy of Bettendorf, sister; Penny (Tim) Dow of Des Moines, Iowa and step-mother; Mary Ann Nevins of Newton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
