Theodore C. “Ted” Bradshaw, 60, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.  Memorials may be made to the Woodworking Shop Class at Central High School in DeWitt, Iowa.

Ted was born April 29, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Joseph L. & Jean F. (Dierickx) Bradshaw.  He was united in marriage to Lillian Lee on November 29, 1975 in Grand Mound, Iowa.  Ted joined the United States Air Force in 1975, and was assigned overseas stationed at the British Royal Air Force Base Alconbury, England, and served until 1984.  He retired in 2011 from the Rock Island Arsenal as a computer specialist after 27 years of employment.

Ted greatly enjoyed woodworking, particularly constructing grandfather clocks.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Those left to honor his memory include his beloved wife of forty years, Lillian; his sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher & Dorothea Bradshaw of Sherrard, Illinois and Patrick & Sarah Bradshaw of Eldridge;  his grandchildren, Ellie & Eli; his mother, Jean Bradshaw of DeWitt; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia & Robert Nolan of Davenport, Iowa, Yvonne “Bonnie” Bradshaw and her significant other, Dale Baker of Clinton, Iowa, Jody & Michael Kreger of Arlington, Texas and Teresa Bradshaw of Arlington; and his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas & Ruth Bradshaw of Kansas City, Kansas.

Ted was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; and his brother-in-law, Timothy Tague.
