Thomas L. Talbot

Thomas Lee Talbot, 48, a resident of Moline, Illinois died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire, Iowa. Visitation well be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Thomas was born February 1, 1959 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of George W. “Butch” & Helen (Boyer) Talbot.
He worked as a machinist for the past 12 years, most recently at the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a member of the AFGE Local 2119 Union.
Thomas enjoyed camping, sleeping, watching the Vikings and loved being with his grandkids.
Those left to honor his memory include his fiancé, Laurie Gray of Moline; his daughters, Amber Talbot and her fiancé Mark Snyder-Truitt of Davenport, Iowa and Tasha Hopper in Kentucky; his sons, Zac Talbot and his fiancé Heather Rahn of Moline and Aaron McArter of Moline; his grandchildren Madison Kay Grace and David Micheal; his mother, Helen Talbot of LeClaire; his sisters, Rosemary (Ronald) Mess of Princeton, Iowa, Bonnetta Jackson of Barstow, Illinois, Janet (Emerson) Smith Jr. of Colona, Illinois, Jane Talbot and Florence Talbot both of LeClaire, Iowa; his brother, Bill (Ona) Talbot of Davenport; his best friend, Jeff (Vicki) Stiles, his cousin, Darin O’Brien; his former wife, Marie Stage and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his dad, George “Butch” Talbot; his brother-in-law, Ken Jackson; his great-nephew; his nephew and his niece.
