Thomas R. Griffith IV, 22, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa died on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City from injuries received in an automobile accident in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Graveside services will be held at Herman Cemetery at Herman, Nebraska.
Tommy was born June 23, 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Thomas R. Griffith III & Carol (Hardy) Havenhill and was a graduate of North Scott High School.
Tommy was employed as a sales associate at SuperTarget in Davenport, Iowa.
He enjoyed baseball and hunting.
Those left to honor his memory include his fiancé, Dawn Marple, of Eldridge; his grandmother, Lucille Griffith of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandfather, Lloyd Hardy of Tekamah, Nebraska; two aunts, one uncle, many cousins and special friends, including, Josh, Marcello, Brandon & Derrick.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.
