Tina Marie Zavala, 55, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Trinity Bettendorf.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at the Walcott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on December 10, 1959 in Ottumwa, Tina was the daughter of Charles L. and Karen K. (Roe) Agan. She married Manuel Zavala.
Tina cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed family get-togethers. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She had a special love for her dogs.
Those left to honor her memory include the love of her life, Manuel Zavala, Sr.; sons, Manuel (Janita) Zavala Jr. and Daniel Zavala; mother, Karen Agan; grandchildren, Amy Aguilar, Adora, Ariel, Rickey, Mia, Athen and Nylah Zavala; great-grandchildren, Jose and Renesmee Lopez; sisters, Debbie (Troy) Harmel and Candy (Robert) Appleby; nieces and nephews, Kristina (Daniel) Judas, Charlie Bernal, Jeramy (Amanda) Agan, Robert Appleby III and Rickey Appleby; and her longest and dearest friend, Lorena Aguilar.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Rickey Agan.
