Todd Brentise

Todd A. Brentise, 38, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Todd was born August 4, 1978 in Davenport, the son of Donald & Cindy (Carney) Brentise.  A 1996 graduate of Davenport West, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College.  Todd was employed with Uniparts Olsen in Eldridge.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed woodworking and watching NASCAR.  Todd loved to play basketball with his nephew, enjoyed the company of animals and enjoyed listening to music, particularly the Beatles.  He especially loved the time spent with his family and friends.

Those left to honor Todd’s memory include his parents, Cindy Brentise (David Cain) and Don (Kris) Brentise of Davenport; his sisters, Tammy Brentise (David Carstens) of Davenport and Lisa (Shane) Strunk of Buffalo; his brother, Don Brentise Jr. of Davenport; his step-brother, Jake McMorran of San Diego, California; his grandparents, Lee & Eloise Carney and Patricia Parker, all of Davenport; his nieces & nephews, Savanah and Mia Strunk of Buffalo and Cody and Zach Pribble of Davenport; his aunt, Pam Bratzel; and his uncles, Gary Carney and Dan Carney, all of Davenport.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandfather, Floyd Brentise.
