Anton F. “Tony” Weber, 41, a resident of Johnsburg, Illinois died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his home.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to an educational fund for his children in care of the Quad-City Bank & Trust, 2118 Middle Rd., Bettendorf, Iowa.
He was born March 24, 1970 in Waukegan, Illinois the son of Anton “Tony” & Lois Weber and was a graduate of Johnsburg High School.
He later earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and his master’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
Tony was employed as a risk manager for CCMSI.
He married Christy Chambers on September 9, 1995 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Allyson E. Weber and Owen A. Weber, both of Bettendorf; his mother, Lois Weber of Johnsburg; his sisters, Lynn (Kevin) Bauer of Ringwood, Illinois, Debbie (Jeff) Haberski of Johnsburg and Sherry (Terry) Purcell in Wisconsin; and a close & special friend, Angela Frazer who came into their lives at the right time.
His father preceded him in death.
