Tony J. Tate, 32, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at his home. He had been ill with agammaglobulinaemia, a rare immune disorder, since his birth.
A Memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born March 14, 1972 in Tucson, Arizona. His parents, Billie W. & Rita D. (Ertel) Tate preceded him in death.
Tony was a graduate of the Iowa State School for the Deaf at Council Bluffs, Iowa. He enjoyed bowling, was an avid collector of “Taz” memorabilia. He also enjoyed volunteering with his mother at various special needs programs throughout the Quad-Cities.
Those left to honor his memory include his sister, Melinda Tate; and his brothers, Garron Tate and Logan Tate, all of Davenport.
