Tracy Williams

Tracy L. Williams, 52, of Kalona, Iowa, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, in Riverside, Iowa.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Tracy was born March 28, 1964, in DeWitt, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Janet (Westerling) Carlson.

She was the mother of four and enjoyed spending time with her family. Tracy loved to garden and was an avid reader; enjoying sitting down to read a great book. She had many lifelong friends that knew her as, "Struss." She will be remembered for her fun nature and being a good person.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Marissa Williams, Jesse Garvin and Ben Williams, all of Davenport; her grandchildren, Jason and Isabella Garvin and Kali Sherman; her boyfriend, Paul Debbing; her sister, Nancy Talley, Galveston, Texas; her niece and nephew, Andi and Chris; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Carlson and Janet Chellos; her son, James Garvin; and her brothers, Jeff and Greg Carlson.
