Vincent W. Holst

      Vincent W. Holst, 38, a resident of East Moline, Illinois died on Monday, July 8, 2024 following an automobile accident near LeClaire, Iowa.

      Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 14th at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. A celebration of life for Vince’s family and friends will be held after 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 3rd at the K & T Bike Rack in Davenport.

      He was born in Silvis, Illinois on August 9, 1985 and worked in logistics in the transportation industry.

      Vince enjoyed playing softball, camping, playing disc golf and more than anything else, being with his beloved family and friends. 

      He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, SF 49ers, Texas Longhorns and Iowa Hawkeyes.

      Vince was always smiling, ready for fun, made friends wherever he went and would help anyone with anything they needed.

      Those left to honor his memory include his parents Tammara & Michael Holst of Bettendorf and Lawrence Crimmins of East Moline; his special love, Sara Sparrowgrove of East Moline; his children, Landon, Kruz, Kynleigh “Sis” and Layla; his siblings, Joey (Zuri) Holst of Coal Valley, Illinois, Jordan (John) Holst of Bettendorf and Corine Holst of Bettendorf; his grandmother Mary Spiegel “Memaw” of Swan Creek, Illinois; mother of his children Tanya Leighton and his “Furbaby” Xena along with his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
