Viola Caporale

Viola (Zaccone) Caporale, 95, a resident of LeClaire, passed away, Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the home of her daughter.
There will be no services held at this time. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials in her honor may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Born on December 10, 1919 in Blue Island, Illinois, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Mason) Zaccone. She married Amidio Caporale in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death.
Viola was an avid gardener. She cherished her time spent with family.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Violet (Robert) Romic of LeClaire, Iowa and Vivian (Tom) Brennan of Plainfield, Illinois; son, Richard (Nancy) Zaccone of Glencoe, Illinois; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Louis Zaccone of LaGrange, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and one sister.
