Viola M. "Vi" Millick died Sunday afternoon the 27th of July 2014 at the Iowa Masonic Health Facility after a brief illness. She was 87.
She was born in the small town of Wien in northeast Missouri on St. Patrick's Day of 1927. Mrs. Millick grew up in Wien and graduated from Marceline High School.

Hard working and energetic, she had a variety of jobs while residing in the Quad Cities. The one she talked most frequently of was at Crescent Macaroni and Cracker Company in Davenport, where she loaded boxcars.
On Thursday, the 19th of July 1956, Viola Noll married Hubert "Hugh" Millick in the Little Brown Church in Nashau, Iowa, and they made their home in Bettendorf. Vi was a homemaker and avid bowler. The family asks that memorials be made in her name to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, Illinois.
The family would also like to acknowledge the staff of Iowa Masonic Health Facilities. We owe special gratitude to Julia who let Mom deliver newspapers with her, Laura, who always seemed to be there exactly when we needed her, nurses Roger, Terri, and Jodi. A special thanks to Mr. Richard Dickey, Bettendorf, for his love and support for Mom & Dad.
