Vivalee Wells

Vivalee Wells, 86, of Eldridge, Iowa, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 pm., Friday, July 11, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Eldridge.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley, Iowa.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Vivalee was born July 19, 1927 in New London, Missouri, the daughter of Edward & Ester Campbell.  She was united in marriage to Roger H. Wells on December 22, 1978 in Davenport.  After residing in Davenport for many years, Vivalee and Roger loved to travel and camp and had lived in California and Arkansas.  She will be remembered as a loving Christian woman and she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Roger; her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy & Bill Howe and Judy & Dennis Dean, all of Eldridge; her step-sons, Paul and Kent Wells, both of Davenport; her grandchildren, Danny (Shawna) Howe of Wheatland, Iowa, Mandy Howe of Bettendorf, April Winters of Minnesota, Vicky (Mike)Becraft of Calamus, Iowa and Ron (Barb) Dean of Davenport; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Vivalee was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Clemons in 1978; her grandson, Tony Burnette; thirteen siblings; and her parents.
