Vivian M. Krause

Vivian Marie Krause, 86, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Manor Care Nursing Center, Davenport.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Valley Blood Center.
She was born March 27, 1918 in the Village of Bettendorf, the daughter of Ernest & Dollie (Bindewald) Stanley.
Vivian retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1987 after 20 years of employment.
She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Mississippi Valley Quilter’s Guild. In addition, she enjoyed playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family. Vivian had a rare blood type and was a faithful blood donor the many years.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters & sons-in-law, Darlene & Jerry Neff of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, Sharon & Gene Jochim of East Dubuque, Illinois and Jerene & Jerry Voelkers of Bettendorf; her sons & daughter-in-law, Gary & Judy Stevens of Corpus Christi, Texas and Curtis Olson of Knoxville, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Jeanie Sieh of Bloomington, Minnesota, Elva Gauper of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Donna Curtis of Bellingham, Washington and Dorothy Stanley of Pleasant Valley; and her brother, Ernie Stanley of Davenport.
Vivian was preceded in death by her sister, LaVerna Brunk.
