Walter Endresak

Walter J. Endresak, 86, of Bettendorf, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Riverview Manor in Pleasant Valley.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center or Riverview Manor to benefit their activity fund.
Born on January 10, 1931 in Bettendorf, Walter was the son of Joe H. and Anna I. (Jernus) Endresak. On May 1, 1956 in Neosho, Missouri, he married Rosalia A. Sieren. She preceded him in death on May 29, 2014.
Walter served his country in the United States Navy from 1948-1952 and the United States Army from 1953-1956. He worked at Rockingham-Lunex in Pleasant Valley for many years. Walter loved his cats, the outdoors, eagle watching and gardening.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Connie (Vaughn) Harvey of Taylorsville, Utah; son, David Endresak; two grandchildren, Jason and Joshua; and a brother, John Endresak of Bettendorf.
In addition to his wife, Walter was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elizabeth Tadder; and brothers, Joseph, Frank and James Endresak.
