William A. "Bill" Eagleson

William Arthur (Bill) Eagleson Jr., 64 years of age of Buffalo, Iowa was called to be with the Lord November 22, 2008 from his home in Buffalo.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Forrest Grove Cemetery in Canton, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf, Iowa and a second visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice of Davenport, Iowa or to the Southern Baptist Church of Buffalo, Iowa where Bill was a member.
Bill was born July 17, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa a son of William Arthur and Dorothy Waneta Wolf Eagleson Sr..
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy McKibbin of Buffalo, Iowa; three sisters, Thelma ( Jerry) Epperson of Rock Island, Illinois, Rebecca (Kenny) Bross of Canton, Missouri and Patricia Bergstrom of Harvard, Illinois; one brother, Robert Eagleson, Canton, Missouri; two step-brothers, Gary (Roxanne) McKibbin of Walcott, Iowa and Larry (Mindy) McKibbin of Jackson, Tennessee; four step sisters, Donna (Ray) Hicks of Blue Grass, Iowa, Linda (Bob) Van Hoorghi of Cordova, Illinois, and Nancy (Bill) Guizar of Davenport, Iowa and Cindy (Don) Mosier of Buffalo, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Including many who honored him recently at a reception where he was given keys to the city along with being named honorary “mayor for the day” We Love you Bill and look forward to our next meeting.
Proceeded in death by his father and step father and two sisters Dorothy Traum and Marjorie Keppler.
