Willie "Train" Turner, Jr.

Graveside services for Willie “Train” Turner Jr., 57, a resident of Davenport, Iowa will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Mr. Turner died Friday, March 2, 2007 at his home.
He was born January 26, 1950 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Willie & Josephine Turner Sr. In earlier years, he had been employed at the J. I. Case Company of Bettendorf. Willie was an accomplished singer and enjoyed playing pool.
Survivors include eight children; a sister, Brenda Turner; brothers, Eddie, Theodore, Joseph & Henry; and a special friend, Dee Jay.
