Wilma Devine

Wilma P. DeVine, 93, of Rock Island, Illinois, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Ft. Armstrong Assisted Living, Rock Island.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Wilma was born on May 13, 1927 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Walter & Edna (Cook) Smysor.  On May 22, 1948, she was united in marriage to Roger A. DeVine in Muscatine, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on October 17, 2020

Those left to honor her memory are her daughters, Donna (Loras) Reiter of Bettendorf, Diana Woodworth of Robinson, Illinois; her son, Steve DeVine of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Roger, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet; her son-in-law, Jay Woodworth; and two brothers, Eldon and Wendell Smysor.
