W. Patrick "Pat" Flynn

Bettendorf

W. Patrick (Pat) Flynn, a devoted servant of the Lord, loving husband and father of 2 children, was embraced by God on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 82.

Funeral Services & Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish, 3970 N. 92nd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday at the church.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Pat was born on December 30, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Paul W Flynn and Anna M (Schutt) Flynn. He was raised by his mother and stepfather Hubert Allen, who was a true father to him.

Pat graduated from Pius High School in Milwaukee. He served in the Army in France for 2 years. Pat married Patricia (Patti) Williams in 1965 and had almost 58 beautiful years together. He had an extremely strong faith and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bettendorf, lowa and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida.

Pat began his career In Milwaukee before moving to Bettendorf, low accepting an engineering position at Struthers Dunn Inc System Division. He was one of the founders and Vice President of Engineering at Uticor Technology Inc in Bettendorf. After retiring, he and Patti moved to Vero Beach, Florida and spent 20 wonderful years there before returning to Bettendorf in 2021.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, his children Dan (Julie) of Orlando, Florida and Cyndi (Joe) Malik of Bettendorf, Iowa. Their 5 grandchildren, Joshua Malik, Jillian Flynn, Matthew Malik, Breannyn Flynn and Chloe Flynn. His stepbrother, Bill (Judy) Allen, his brothers-in-law Don Ney, Larry (Penny) Williams, Ken (Jody) Williams, Jim (Geri) Williams, his sisters-in-law Mary (Mike) Knoepke and Georgia Williams and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by his father Paul Flynn, mother and stepfather Anna and Hubert Allen, sister Paula Maureen Ney, brothers-in-law Gerald Williams, John (Jack) Williams, and niece Cathy Wagner.
