Wyolene Jackson

Wyolene B. Jackson, 70, a resident of East Moline, Illinois died Wednesday, August 04, 2004 at OSS St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.
A prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel Bettendorf. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born January 19, 1934 in Morgan, Georgia, the daughter of Allen & Mattie Lou (Carver) Bailey.
Wyolene was employed as a contract specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring after 34 years.
She dearly loved the times spent with her family and enjoyed traveling as well.
Those left to honor memory include her daughter & son-in-law, Debra & Russ King of Bettendorf; her son, Edward L. Nelson of East Moline; her grandchildren, Ryan, Jason & Meg; her twin-sister, Ailene Duff of Valdosta, Georgia, her sister, Betty McCook of Stone Mountain, Georgia and her sister, Sally Tolson of Seale, Alabama; and her brother, Charles Bailey of Leland, North Carolina.
Wyolene was preceded in death by her sisters, Marinell Lightfoot and Janice Freeman; and by her parents.
